DSA has had three recent funding successes to help us deliver dance opportunities for all in these unusual times. Huge thank you to the St Andrews Community Trust, University of St Andrews and the Adapt and Thrive Scheme
In our recent e-exams, over 25% of our exams were graded as 'distinction', significantly higher than national average. Exceptional performances in highland and ballet with 67% and 43% distinctions.
Cupar Highland Games
Our Highland dancers filmed some super work for Cupar Highland Games which will be a virutal event this year
Well done, Alexandra
Despite everything that 2020 threw at us, our wonderful Alexandra attained her Associate level teaching qualification in ballet earlier this year. She received a glowing report reflecting all of her hard work and we couldn't be more proud!
Care home outreach
Wow! What a morning! We filmed in a freezing cold St Mary's quad to produce some lovely videos of our dancing for the residents of our local care homes.
Return to in person classes
We are delighted to announce our phased return to in person classes welcoming all Highland and National pupils and Senior Ballet, Tap and Jazz back from 26th October, 2020
UKADance produced these lovely Lockdown Loyalty certificates and medals! DSA nominated all of our lovely pupils who have danced with us in so many ways over the last few months. Very well done to each and every one of you, for showing the tenacity to keep going in these unusual times. I hope that you love your beautiful medals and certificates.
Well done to our fantastic pupils who attained 100% success in the UKADance e-exams July, 2020. A real achievement for all at DSA to gain these awards during lockdown. Looking forward to seeing all your trophies and medals!!!

Our beautiful Henrietta danced the Highland Fling at her brother's wedding in Edinburgh recently making everyone here at DSA very proud. Nice work, Henny!
DSA were delighted to be invited to perform at a recent ceilidh at Strathkinness and some of our senior pupils showed their wonderful highland and ballet skills.
Two of our younger pupils demonstrated their ballet, jazz and national skills during a workshop at the University of St Andrews nursery. The nursery pupils were a real delight and we enjoyed bringing some dance to their classes!
