Tap dancing is a fun and energetic way to help dancers build cardiovascular fitness, coordination, balance, and agility, while also strengthening focus and cognitive skills through rhythm and pattern. The percussive, creative nature of tap brings people together, fostering confidence, connection, and enjoyment at every age. Our weekly tap classes run from P1–P3 (preliminary) through to advanced levels, with professional and vocational training options available.
Our youngest tap dancers follow the UKADance preliminary syllabi to develop core skills through fun exercises and short routines. Here they are performing their Clowning Around dance!
Our junior tap classes are based on the early level of the UKADance graded syllabi and pupils can opt to take exams in these.
Our senior tap classes develop advanced tap technique supported by the UKADance senior syllabi in which pupils can opt for formal assessment.
We offer teacher and vocational training in tap through UKADance. Here are 3 of our professional trainees in Tron from our 'A Night in with DSA' show
