About Dance St Andrews

Established in 2019 by Director Dr. Gayle Middleton, Dance St Andrews Community Interest Company is a non-profit dance school dedicated to enhancing well-being through dance. Our mission is to make dance accessible and enjoyable for everyone, spanning all age groups. Whether you aspire to boost your performance, strength, or confidence, Dance St Andrews is the ideal destination.

Our leadership board has expanded to include two additional directors: dance teacher Dr. Paula Miles and local community councilor Jane Ann Linton. Currently, we offer a diverse range of classes, including ballet, tap, jazz, highland, and national, catering to preschoolers through professionals. With low staff-to-student ratios, our classes prioritize safe development of core techniques and personalized attention to each learner's needs.

As a social enterprise, our three objectives encompass social change, environmental benefits, and economic growth for our local community. Through dance education and performance, we convey a positive message that transcends physical and age barriers, fostering skills, confidence, and strengths applicable to various aspects of life. Prioritizing electronic communication and hosting up-cycling events, we aim to minimize our environmental footprint. Additionally, by training the next generation of dance teachers, we contribute to the long-term prosperity of the St Andrews dance community.
